On July 29, 2002, seven of Mary Sorensen's quilts were stolen from a van parked
at the Extended Stay America Nashville airport hotel. It was a random break-in by someone looking for goods to sell, not someone looking for quilts. They were probably dumped or sold at a flea market. The quilts are all designed and hand appliquéd by Mary. Print this page, put it in your purse or wallet, keep an eye open.
